Coming back to France

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, our Erasmus trip had to end. Due to the virus and the closing borders, we had to come back to France. We were the second and last wave of the French students going back. The first were Déborah and Nicolas. They came back approximately 1 week before us.

How did we plan it? Well, we didn't really plan it. We were thinking of going back and when someone called the embassy, they said that we really should get the next flight which was on the 26th of March. But we were on the 24th, so we rushed to get everything ready for the flight. We first needed to return some things to the university. Also, we needed to get authorisations from the university to go to the airport. After that, we needed to return our routers and pack our stuff. We also booked some taxi to go to the airport because due to the virus, there was no buses. We also needed to book an hotel at Sofia because our flight was early. We wanted to buy masks, but they were out of stock, so we bought painter's masks. On the day of the departure, we said goodbye to everyone, we were sad to leave so early. The trip to the airport was fine and the beautiful since it was snowing. The hotel and the flight were fine, and we got back home on the afternoon.
