Veliko Tarnovo (VT)
Veliko was the old capital city. There is 67000 inhabitants in this city. It is the administrative center of the eponymous province. Read the article :
The name Tarnovo (often written Turnovo) is believed to come from the Slavic word 'trun', meaning thorn, though other theories link it to the roman word for "fortress". The word 'Veliko', meaning 'great', was officially only added in 1966. GREAT THORN or GREAT FORTRESS
